Software Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +40 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop secure, accurate, efficient, clear, and maintainable “production-ready” code that adheres to internal standards and industry best practices.

• Improve and expand our current products, including device management, microservices, and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) applications to provide seamless experiences for our customers.

• Design and create APIs that connect with both internal and external services, enhancing overall system functionality.

• Clarify and communicate engineering requirements for new products, features, quality enhancements, or design modifications.

• Monitor progress, keep stakeholders informed, and engage with peers and the broader team through stand-ups and regular updates on work items.

• Apply industry-standard security practices to protect both customer and internal data.

• Conduct thorough testing of code, engage in code reviews, and proactively address bugs and performance issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional development experience in C#.

• Experience with ASP.NET Core microservices and/or desktop applications (WPF or similar).

• Extensive experience in API Development, particularly with RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of security practices in software development, including secure coding, encryption, and data protection.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.

• Expertise in Git for version control and collaborative development.
