Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, develop, and maintain scalable and consistent services by writing reusable, modular, and maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering managers to convert business requirements into functional software solutions, establish timelines, and assess workload.

• Conduct code reviews, uphold coding standards, troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues, and ensure high-quality, performant code.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and tools, promote their adoption as suitable, and foster a culture of continuous learning and team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in backend development, with a strong understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, and domain-driven design principles.

• Excellent English communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Self-driven, proactive, and responsible, with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a focus on personal growth.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with functional programming languages.

• Professional experience in Rust and/or Elixir.

• Practical experience with test-driven development (TDD), Event-Sourcing, and CQRS methodologies.

• Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
