Software Developer – Developer Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As a Software Developer for the Developer Platform team, you will leverage your expertise to assist the team with operations and research & development.

• You will collaborate with various product teams to define, architect, and review new APIs.

• Your role will involve engaging with the developer community, representing the Leaseweb API, and participating in developer events to enhance the API.

• Additionally, you will design, implement, and support applications, tools, and platforms that aid our development teams and customers, such as our authentication platform and central logging service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.

• Strong programming skills, with a particular emphasis on PHP experience.

• Affinity for or experience in frontend development (Angular or similar frameworks).

• Experience in API development and integrating external services.

• Proven experience in designing and contributing to software architectures.

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization systems utilizing OAuth2 (experience with larger systems is an advantage).

• Experience in building libraries and/or SDKs is a plus.

• Solid working knowledge of Linux environments.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

• Experience with Terraform or developing Terraform plugins is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.

• A proactive mindset focused on quality enhancement and incident prevention.

• Effective communication skills in English.
