Social Video Producer – TEMP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the main on-camera personality and voice for short-form and medium-form pilot videos, providing captivating commentary and insightful cultural analysis.

• Quickly write and modify short-form scripts in response to breaking celebrity news, trending subjects, and current TSR aggregated content.

• Collaborate effectively with the production team, using constructive feedback to continually enhance, test, and shape your on-camera persona to align with the TSR brand voice.

• Arrange, set up, and uphold a tidy, visually attractive on-camera setting (like a professional home office or studio-like area) to serve as the backdrop for daily content.

• Record yourself and apply basic video editing, sound capturing, and graphic design skills to efficiently package raw content for social media feeds under tight deadlines.

• Track real-time audience feedback via comments and platform analytics to gauge the Roomies’ viewpoint and adjust your on-camera style to better engage with the community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, Film/Television Production, or a related discipline is preferred; or equivalent hands-on experience.

• At least two (2) years of experience as an on-camera host, digital creator, social media producer, multimedia journalist, or a comparable role focused on producing short-form video content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).

• A demonstrated portfolio or demo reel that highlights storytelling abilities and engaging pop culture or celebrity news content.

• Experience working efficiently under tight deadlines in a dynamic digital news, entertainment, or social-focused media setting.

• Preferred: Experience hosting or participating in live-streamed broadcasts (e.g., Twitch, Kick, YouTube Live, TikTok Live).
