Social Media Manager – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and spearhead a comprehensive social media strategy for TikTok and Instagram, constructed from the ground up.

• Establish content pillars, brand positioning, and a consistent posting schedule.

• Transform the client's concepts into refined short-form content.

• Manage and edit content from start to finish, including Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and other short-form videos, as well as graphics, captions, and copy.

• Oversee the personal rebranding process and create a unified, premium, education-first identity.

• Generate content that informs audiences about life insurance, family protection, and generational wealth in a relatable, non-salesy manner.

• Cultivate the accounts organically to stimulate inbound interest, foster community engagement, and generate referrals.

• Monitor engagement, analyze performance metrics, and continuously improve the strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building and enhancing TikTok and Instagram accounts, supported by a portfolio showcasing clear results.

• Strong skills in creating short-form videos, including ideation, filming direction, and editing.

• Proficient in graphic design, as well as caption and copywriting.

• Proven track record in developing personal or founder-led brands, including successful rebranding efforts.

• A keen eye for premium, aspirational aesthetics that feel curated rather than mass-produced or corporate.

• Ability to simplify and engage with educational or complex subjects; familiarity with finance or insurance is a plus.

• Emphasis on organic growth through community engagement and referrals rather than reliance on paid advertising.

• Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative, capable of taking initiative while remaining flexible with direction.
