Social Media and Influencer Relations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in enhancing and managing the company's influencer relations and content creator initiatives.

• Create social media strategies for spokespersons.

• Write, revise, and distribute social content for leaders across various platforms.

• Support the Senior Social Media Manager in overseeing the employee advocacy initiative.

• Establish and refine AI-enhanced workflows.

• Collaborate across departments including social, PR, community, product marketing, events, and developer relations.

• Aid the Senior Social Media Manager in generating and adjusting social content.

• Help organize, schedule, and broadcast Grafana Labs’ acclaimed Big Tent podcast.

• Assist in coordinating internal communications.

• Act as a versatile partner during critical PR events.

• Provide on-site assistance at both company and industry-related events.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.

• At least 4 years of marketing experience, ideally in social media marketing or public relations within a rapidly growing start-up.

• Demonstrated experience in developing AI workflows using tools like Claude Code to facilitate brainstorming and streamline processes.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Openness to travel internationally (~20%).

• Proficiency in tools such as Sprout Social, Brandwatch, BusinessWire (or comparable platforms).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing using software like Descript, Premiere (or similar).

• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a globally distributed team in a dynamic setting.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging marketing trends and technologies.

• Proven success in creating high-impact influencer marketing campaigns.
