Social Media Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop, schedule, and disseminate content across various social media channels.

• Create diverse content formats, including posts, memes, clips, reels, short videos, graphics, polls, and community engagement materials.

• Generate innovative content ideas influenced by comics, anime, gaming, fandom culture, internet trends, and current events.

• Tailor content for specific audiences on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, and other emerging platforms.

• Collaborate with artists, writers, editors, creators, and other team members to produce captivating social-first content.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, ideation, research, and production processes.

• Assist in increasing followers, engagement, reach, and overall brand visibility.

• Monitor real-time trends, discussions, memes, and opportunities.

• Experiment with new content formats, campaigns, and growth strategies.

• Analyze content performance and optimize strategies based on outcomes.

• Research and identify relevant creators, influencers, artists, writers, streamers, podcasters, and community leaders.

• Conduct outreach and establish relationships with creators and potential collaborators.

• Secure collaborations, partnerships, interviews, giveaways, guest appearances, and cross-promotional opportunities.

• Maintain databases of creators and collaboration pipelines.

• Interact directly with fans and community members across platforms.

• Engage in discussions within anime, comic, gaming, and fandom communities.

• Assist in converting casual followers into active community participants.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, influencer marketing, community management, or growth marketing.

• Excellent English communication skills (C1/C2), both written and verbal.

• Profound knowledge of anime, comics, gaming, fandom communities, memes, and internet culture.

• Strong grasp of social media trends, content performance metrics, and audience engagement strategies.

• Ability to create and publish content at a high frequency.

• Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills.

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive mindset.

• Highly Preferred: Experience in entertainment, animation, film, gaming, creator economy, comics, anime, social media, or digital media sectors.

• Established connections with creators, influencers, artists, podcasters, YouTubers, streamers, or fandom communities.

• Proven track record of growing social media accounts from the ground up.

• Experience managing Reddit communities, meme pages, or fan communities.

• Familiarity with creator partnerships, ambassador programs, or influencer outreach initiatives.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for content creation and social media workflows.
