Site Reliability Engineer – SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with developers to prototype and design innovative infrastructure features.

• Deploy, install, configure, and maintain advanced trading, financial, and related software.

• Configure bare-metal instances utilizing Infrastructure as Code techniques.

• Develop and sustain CI/CD pipelines.

• Make critical decisions regarding scalability, reliability, and availability.

• Install and oversee both in-house and third-party monitoring systems.

• Design, deploy, and configure cloud-based servers and networks; provision servers and storage; set up firewalls, VPNs, monitoring, etc.

• Administer UNIX infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

• Manage Nexus and Git repositories.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the industry.

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps engineer.

• Strong OS-level administration experience with Linux and/or UNIX systems.

• Proficient in IaaS and automation using tools such as Ansible and/or Terraform.

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration platforms (e.g., OpenShift, HashiCorp Nomad).

• Capability to read and interpret logs and error messages.

• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP and the OSI model.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (such as Zabbix, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Grafana, Kibana, etc.).

• Knowledge of web and proxy servers (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Envoy, etc.).

• Experience in administering UNIX infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

• Proficient in configuring instances utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Proficient in English with a minimum level of B2 (Upper-Intermediate).
