Site Reliability Engineer – Middle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create all-encompassing monitoring solutions to ensure complete visibility of various platform components.

• Develop and improve dashboards and alerts to effectively monitor our applications and platform elements.

• Address high-priority incidents, conduct blameless post-mortem analyses, and guarantee the definitive resolution of incidents.

• Assess the performance of our applications and platform components, and suggest enhancements to achieve our response objectives.

• Collaborate with the development team throughout the software lifecycle to enhance reliability and scalability.

• Refine our CI/CD processes to ensure they operate seamlessly (including automation, bot implementations, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with at least one prominent technology stack for designing, coding, and delivering software.

• Proficient in scripting and object-oriented programming languages (such as Ruby, Python, Java, etc.).

• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible/Saltstack/Terraform).

• Solid experience in process automation and monitoring solutions (e.g., DataDog/ELK/GrayLog).

• Experience utilizing AI tools to streamline routine tasks.

• Background in deploying and maintaining products within the K8S stack.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and the challenges they face as they scale.

• Practical experience in resolving complex technical issues regularly.

• In-depth knowledge of the internals of relational databases.

• Exceptional debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• English proficiency: Intermediate or higher.

• Russian proficiency: Upper-intermediate or higher.
