Short-form Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Transform 60-minute podcast recordings into captivating **Instagram Reels** and short-form videos.

• Pinpoint the most impactful 30–60 second segments and develop engaging hooks that seize attention instantly.

• Edit talking-head videos, founder updates, behind-the-scenes footage, and business-oriented clips.

• Produce clear, easy-to-read captions with burned-in subtitles tailored for mobile viewing.

• Provide polished vertical videos that are designed to feel organic to Instagram.

• Recognize independent clips with significant engagement potential from longer recordings.

• Work closely with the team to uphold a consistent brand voice and visual aesthetic.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in editing **short-form content** for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.

• Strong grasp of pacing, storytelling, and maintaining audience engagement.

• Excellent ability to discern compelling moments from long-form content.

• Experience in editing content related to founders, businesses, podcasts, or operators.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Descript, and Adobe After Effects.

• Strong skills in caption design, focusing on readability and visual hierarchy.

• Capability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.

• Availability to work during PST business hours.
