Session Lead – Integrated Application Security Services Nanodegree

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Overseeing weekly Connect sessions with students in accordance with Udacity guidelines

• Developing the agenda and notes for the Udacity Connect sessions

• Facilitating communication between students and the Udacity Connect team

• Reporting the overall weekly attendance status of students to Udacity, along with any observations from each session

• Being present at every Connect session on Zoom, assisting students with introductions, organizing them into groups, and managing time effectively

• Clarifying concepts of the Nanodegree program to your group of students as necessary

• Addressing questions raised by students during the Connect sessions

• Updating the Mentor's dashboard with students' attendance and progress

• Engaging with students on Slack

• Conducting weekly check-ins to monitor all students' progress

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the specified skill areas

• In-depth knowledge of OWASP vulnerabilities, secure coding practices, and familiarity with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools

• Competence in executing penetration tests, identifying system vulnerabilities, and applying remediation strategies that align with industry standards

• Experience in designing secure systems, implementing authentication and authorization protocols, and developing tools to monitor and mitigate security breaches

• Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly and produce effective security reports

• Graduation from the Cybersecurity Nanodegree Program is a valuable asset

• Experience in teaching technical subjects and delivering public presentations

• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to lead a group of students

• Student-centered approach with a focus on understanding their challenges

• Innovative mindset and proactive attitude toward assisting students in need

• Positive demeanor that fosters trust among students, creating strong emotional connections within the group

• Established tech network and experience in technical discussions
