Senior/Lead Computer Vision Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create algorithms that integrate deep learning, computational geometry, and medical imaging.

• Develop and enhance 3D segmentation, modeling, and measurement pipelines tailored for clinically significant workflows.

• Design, train, and validate deep learning models along with geometry-based techniques for incorporation into a cloud-driven healthcare platform.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to transform clinical and business requirements into robust algorithm designs.

• Partner with Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality teams to ensure adherence to medical software development standards.

• Continuously enhance algorithm precision, reliability, and computational efficiency.

• Participate in research initiatives and the exploration of innovative methods in AI and medical imaging.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing deep learning models and computational geometry algorithms.

• Proven experience in deriving measurements and features from 3D segmentations.

• Proficient software development skills, particularly in Python.

• Knowledgeable in medical image analysis (CT, MRI, ultrasound, or equivalent modalities).

• Familiarity with 3D data processing, mesh manipulation, and geometric feature extraction.

• Practical experience with frameworks and libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and PyTorch.

• Strong grasp of algorithm optimization, numerical stability, and rigorous validation practices.

• Capability to work efficiently within cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

• Preferred: Experience with TypeScript.

• Knowledge of AWS-based cloud environments and associated products.

• Experience with VTK or similar 3D visualization and processing frameworks.

• Understanding of medical software development processes and standards.

• Background in research or a keen interest in advanced AI and imaging techniques.
