Senior Visual UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement visually appealing design concepts that align with the brand and effectively address the business objectives of clients. This encompasses typography, composition, interfaces, logos, branding, components, and more across various platforms and viewports.

• Design and present high-fidelity concepts and directions as an integral part of the design workflow. This involves engaging in brainstorming sessions, offering creative ideas and inspirations, and proposing solutions that are articulated through references, sketches, storyboards, mood boards, and conceptual designs.

• Maintain a personal standard of excellence in design, presentation, processes, and collaboration with colleagues and client interactions.

• Stay updated with and advocate for new AI practices, emerging design methodologies, trends, and techniques. Actively seek out and suggest new best practices.

• Bring designs to life through interactive prototypes and motion, including the ability to conceptualize motion in interactions and create prototypes using Figma and other AI tools.

• Develop design systems, style guides, brand guidelines, and other resources to illustrate and communicate the desired user experience, while also preparing assets for development.

• Collaborate effectively with team members, including UX designers, strategists, copywriters, creative directors, developers, and fellow visual designers.

• Foster and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally, particularly within the design team.

• Mentor junior designers and contribute to cultivating a vibrant design culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in an agency or studio setting across various industries, focusing on digital design experiences.

• Expertise in creating brand and/or systematic design experiences across multiple channels, with a relentless drive for improvement.

• Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate and present ideas effectively to North American team members and clients.

• Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying points with enthusiasm and defending quality work gracefully. Can simplify complex ideas for the understanding of both the team and clients with minimal guidance.

• A strategic thinker who can assimilate the project’s strategic goals and insights from UX and narrative to produce a comprehensive design solution.

• A collaborative team player who takes direction well, enhances group processes, and assists others in improving their work. Experienced in guiding junior designers on design principles and best practices.

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines while handling multiple projects and delivering results to various stakeholders without compromising quality.

• Strong prioritization skills, focusing time and energy on the most critical aspects throughout the design process. Adaptable with a solutions-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in AI tools and contemporary design practices, with expertise in Figma and related AI tools, as well as image generators being essential components of your toolkit.
