Senior Video Editor – m/w/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, create, and continually enhance educational videos, emphasizing motion design, storytelling, and post-production techniques.

• Edit a variety of video formats, including animation, live-action, screencasts, and tutorials.

• Independently manage, arrange, and prioritize multiple video projects simultaneously.

• Assess, refine, and improve current video production workflows and processes.

• Offer constructive feedback to junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.

• Maintain a consistent quality standard with a focus on scalability and reusability.

• Work closely with editorial teams, product development, and other internal stakeholders.

• Incorporate emerging tools and trends in AI and automation into the video production process.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably with a strong emphasis on motion design.

• Significant experience in producing videos with a didactic or educational focus.

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Vyond, or similar software.

• Experience in audio optimization, color correction, and color grading.

• Solid grasp of animation principles, visual storytelling, and narrative structure.

• Organized and self-motivated work style with a strong sense of project ownership.

• Team-oriented mindset with a reflective attitude and receptiveness to constructive criticism.

• Enthusiasm for AI tools, automation, gamification, and a commercial understanding of budgets and scalable content production.
