This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Develop the user experience for both web and mobile platforms.
• Employ design thinking methodologies alongside strong collaboration with business, design, analytics, and development teams.
• Act as the subject matter expert in the UX field.
• Utilize creative and technical problem-solving abilities to steer the design from initial concept to final execution.
• Design web and mobile solutions that simplify complex challenges.
• Prototype and implement UX solutions for products, services, features, and enhancements.
• Foster strong, collaborative relationships across design, business, development, and analytics teams.
• Manage expectations both within the team and with clients.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to inform design choices.
• Support other tasks and projects as required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a creative or technical discipline.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and education.
• Capable of reconciling diverse user and business needs to create clarity and alignment among stakeholders.
• A portfolio showcasing expertise in resolving complex UX challenges and crafting well-designed web and mobile experiences on large-scale projects.
• Strong collaborative abilities.
• High level of creativity, empathy, and enthusiasm.
• Exceptional communication skills (storytelling, visualization, utilization of qualitative and quantitative data) to garner support for initiatives and inspire enthusiasm for execution.
• Familiarity with Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean methodologies.
• Highly skilled in using design and prototyping tools (Adobe, Sketch, InVision, etc.).
• Well-versed in web and mobile UX best practices.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS as well as emerging tools, technologies, and business practices.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask across various projects.
• Competent in providing and receiving feedback and interpreting critiques to improve project outcomes.
• Safeguarding, securing, and properly managing all confidential data held by Ascensus.
