Senior Underwriter – Health Plan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive profit, growth, service, and expense targets through financial analysis and pricing strategies.

• Assess the utilization and financial experiences of both customers and prospects.

• Conduct claims re-pricing analyses for intricate external claims data.

• Offer support to Sales, Marketing, and Client Engagement teams.

• Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, IT, HPS, and Marketing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant professional experience; a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring a work visa or residency sponsorship.

• Previous experience in the PBM and/or healthcare sector is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of mathematical applications utilized in the underwriting process is essential, including the ability to compute figures such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.

• Capability to effectively present information and address inquiries in one-on-one or small group settings.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
