Senior UI/UX Developer, AI-focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• AI-enhanced design and implementation — Create and develop outstanding interfaces utilizing Figma, AI design tools (v0.dev, same.new, Hero UI Chat, Bolt, Lovable), and AI code assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot). Begin with high-level references and independently produce refined results.

• Production-ready frontend development — Write and deploy code utilizing Next.js 14+, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS with a keen eye for detail. You are responsible for quality throughout the entire process — there is no QA layer between you and production.

• Scalable component architecture — Construct and uphold organized design systems (HeroUI, shadcn/ui) to ensure consistency, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Leverage AI to quickly scaffold components, then manually refine them when AI output needs improvement.

• Prompt engineering for design and code — Craft effective prompts for design and code generation tools. Understand when AI output is ready for production and when it needs manual adjustments. Continuously enhance prompt strategies to boost output quality and efficiency.

• Independent interface delivery — Transform strategic requirements into user-friendly interfaces. Collaborate effectively with product teams while retaining design autonomy and making informed UX decisions independently.

• AI workflow optimization — Regularly assess and incorporate new AI tools into your workflow. Develop repeatable AI-assisted practices that the team can adopt to enhance overall productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Designer-to-developer background — Initially a UI/UX designer with advanced Figma skills before moving to frontend development. Strong visual sensibility and layout instincts are essential.

• AI-native workflow — Proven experience using AI design and code generation tools on a daily basis (v0, Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Bolt, or similar). These tools are not just familiar to you; they are fundamental to your working style.

• Frontend proficiency — Over 3 years of practical experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. You are capable of reading, debugging, and refactoring AI-generated code with confidence.

• Critical AI output evaluation — Skill in swiftly assessing AI-generated designs and code for quality, accessibility, and readiness for production. You can identify where AI errors and pattern failures typically arise and catch them before they are released.

• Autonomous execution — Demonstrated ability to create complete interfaces from high-level references with remarkable attention to detail, working without constant supervision or QA oversight.

• Fluency in Russian and/or Ukrainian language.
