Senior Trade Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct global import/export compliance procedures for shipments to and from the U.S. and Canada

• Ensure compliance with trade legislation and regulations

• Work collaboratively with supply chain, procurement, product development, and logistics departments

• Develop and enhance recordkeeping systems

• Assist with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) documentation

• Track regulatory developments that affect trade responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or a similar field

• 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in global trade compliance or customs operations

• Strong analytical abilities and sound decision-making skills

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. and Canadian trade regulations

• Proficient in interpreting trade laws and enforcing compliance frameworks

• Experience utilizing trade automation tools

• Preferred certifications include CCS, CES, or CTCS
