This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Leads long-term intelligence initiatives and serves as the technical authority for essential research projects.
• Coordinates and directs the analysis of complex adversarial operations.
• Promotes analytical rigor, tradecraft, and the validation of threats.
• Collaborates with policy, product, and customer-facing teams regarding threat-related issues.
• Cultivates expertise in nation-state or cybercrime environments.
• Presents at global Cyber Threat Intelligence conferences (e.g., FIRST, SANS CTI Summit).
• Significant experience in conducting attribution assessments, mapping infrastructures, and performing behavioral clustering.
• Functions as an internal subject matter expert on threat actor ecosystems and geopolitical factors affecting threat activities.
• Develops actor dossiers, ecosystem models, and forecasting scenarios.
• Proficient in analyzing the evolution of malware families and the reuse of campaign infrastructures on a large scale.
• Experienced in influencing detection strategies and policies through research outputs and strategic briefs.
