Senior Technical Director, Air Compliance

📋 Description

• Oversee, recruit, and mentor a team of current and potential air compliance scientists, engineers, and other professionals while cultivating a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.

• Utilize and build relationships to enhance and generate client leads and secure contracts within key industry sectors.

• Manage multiple large-scale and intricate projects, whether single or multi-site, from initiation to completion.

• Provide technical direction and produce high-quality deliverables on complex air compliance regulatory matters.

• Advise clients on permitting prerequisites and develop timely, high-quality permitting submissions.

• Formulate timely and innovative regulatory compliance strategies and effectively engage with regulatory agencies.

• Assist clients in defining and planning concerning air-specific regulatory obligations and potential air quality impacts.

• Create high-quality technical reports and conduct QA/QC on project reports prepared by other members of the air compliance team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10–15 years of experience in air compliance consulting, showcasing expertise in the Clean Air Act (CAA) and associated federal, state, and local regulations.

• An existing book of business is required.

• Proficient working knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

• Proven ability to produce concise and accurate technical documentation.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong business acumen and a team-oriented approach.

• Demonstrated financial management abilities to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
