Senior Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with an account team to establish a comprehensive engagement strategy aimed at fostering trust and advocacy for the Coupa Platform, primarily at the Enterprise and Strategic account level across various industry sectors.

• Partner with senior business, AI, and IT leaders within client organizations to collaboratively develop a vision and framework for the transformation of their procurement, finance, and supply chain operations from manual, human-led tasks to orchestrated, Agentic-led processes.

• Create an architecture and proof of concept that illustrates how Coupa AI and other technologies can fulfill this vision and framework.

• Deliver technical presentations, explanations, and discussions as needed for both prospective and existing clients, covering areas such as:

• Coupa Platform strategy and approach

• Coupa AI architecture and implementation

• Cloud Hosting Architecture

• Coupa Product Architecture

• Coupa Security and Compliance

• Integration with ERPs like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, D365, etc.

• Data management, including AI models and processing

• Develop, review, and refine materials such as presentations, digital content, and videos to effectively communicate technical information.

• Collaborate with the RFP team on technology/security requirements and assist in responding to and reviewing the technical portions of RFI/RFPs as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technology company as a technical architect, preferably in a pre-sales role.

• Demonstrated technical proficiency and comfort with web-based applications and Cloud models, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, as well as expertise in Infrastructure, Architecture, AI, Security, and Integration concepts, particularly in an enterprise context for C-Level and Technical Teams.

• In-depth knowledge of Agentic AI and a comprehensive understanding of the broader AI landscape, with the capability to guide design choices toward the most suitable technology (whether AI or otherwise).

• Profound understanding of AI mechanisms and the ability to articulate how they interact with customer data.

• Experience in Finance, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to develop and deliver clear and concise technical narratives.

• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong decision-making abilities, with the skill to relate complex technology to business contexts.

• Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are an advantage.

• Capacity to present intricate information in an easily understandable format (both written and graphical).

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
