This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Spearhead criminal risk initiatives by gathering, verifying, and integrating multi-channel intelligence to proactively detect emerging threats.
• Create and sustain dynamic dashboards utilizing tools like Power BI or Tableau to illustrate investigative priorities and performance metrics.
• Utilize advanced analytics (including predictive modeling and trend analysis) to reveal criminal risk patterns and aid in strategic decision-making.
• Work in collaboration with law enforcement and industry partners to ensure that intelligence sharing complies with Canadian regulatory standards.
• Advocate for data integrity through thorough mapping, cleansing, and validation processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Utilize systems, tools, and open-source as well as social media platforms to support investigations and identify offenders targeting the business.
• Present intelligence initiatives and dynamic dashboards to Investigation leadership.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in intelligence studies, criminal justice, data science, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong technical skill set in data engineering and visualization, with a background in creating dashboards that shape investigative strategies.
• Significant experience in data analysis or database management tools such as SQL, R, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Capacity to convert complex intelligence into clear, actionable insights for senior management.
• Proven track record in criminal risk intelligence analysis within a regulated financial setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of OSINT case law and relevant privacy legislation.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English.
• In-depth knowledge of the Canadian financial industry, including supporting systems and processes, along with demonstrated experience with Canadian financial crime regulations.
