• Oversee the onboarding process for U.S. clients implementing NETGEAR ProAV switches along with third-party integrations.
• Work in conjunction with the South Central Sales Territory Manager to guarantee successful project deployments.
• Provide both remote and on-site training focusing on AV-over-IP network design, switch profile selection, PTP configuration, and Dante/AVB/Milan setup, including API integration and video configuration.
• Create tailored training materials, system designs, and internal/external knowledge base documentation.
• Ensure a smooth transition into production environments, which may involve complex deployments across multiple switches and vendors.
• Offer advanced on-site troubleshooting for high-profile clients facing intricate timing, multicast, or interoperability challenges.
• Collect logs, execute packet traces, replicate issues in laboratory settings, and deliver real-time diagnostics.
• Assist in the commissioning of AV-over-IP systems to guarantee stable production performance.
• Address escalated issues related to AVB, Dante/AES67, NVX, Q-SYS, SMPTE-2059-2, PTPv2, and multicast networking.
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Channel teams to aid in technical scoping and solution design.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
• Help in the creation of Bills of Materials (BOM) and system architecture design.
• Provide competitive analysis and technical positioning.
• Contribute technical knowledge to enhance NETGEAR's ProAV presence in the U.S. market.
• Develop and maintain internal scripts, configuration tools, and deployment utilities.
• Create automation tools aimed at minimizing troubleshooting time, which includes log analysis, profile validation, and configuration parsing.
• Write best practice guides, training materials, and knowledge base documentation.
• Represent NETGEAR at industry conferences and partner events across the U.S.
• Deliver technical workshops and presentations.
• Provide advanced education on AV-over-IP and roadmap overviews.
• Support network deployments for events and multi-vendor interoperability demonstrations.
• At least 5 years of experience in networking systems, AV-over-IP technologies, or similar systems engineering roles.
• Extensive knowledge of ProAV networking products, AV-over-IP technologies, multicast networking, IGMP, and switch profile development.
• Strong grasp of routing and switching principles.
• Practical deployment experience with AVB, Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron, SMPTE-2059-2, and multicast networks.
• Field experience in troubleshooting complex AV-over-IP systems.
• Independent lab development and advanced self-study in technical areas.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, AVIXA CTS, Dante, or AVB are advantageous but not required.
• Experience in a Solutions Architect or Systems Engineering role is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the South Central U.S. region is essential.
