Senior Systems Data Engineer, Financial Transactions, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design event-driven data pipelines (Kafka) and create new data models to maintain transactional integrity for commercial events.

• Streamline scalable ETL processes and enhance next-generation data architectures for improved quality and security.

• Work collaboratively with various teams to translate business processes into self-monitoring systems, resolving complex issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Over 12 years of industry experience in delivering scalable financial services.

• Proficiency in developing scalable REST APIs supported by PostgreSQL.

• Strong skills in Python, Golang, Scala, or NodeJS.

• Practical experience in designing robust ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Databricks and dbt.

• Thorough understanding of high-scale distributed systems, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
