• Oversee the design and enhancement of our internal MDR service delivery systems and infrastructure.
• Create scalable distributed systems that can accommodate a tenfold growth and empower our service delivery team members.
• Develop and document a thorough system architecture for detection ingestion, ticketing, and customer data workflows.
• Formulate integration patterns and API strategies to connect various systems.
• Establish architectural roadmaps to support tenfold growth while minimizing complexity.
• Design workflows that facilitate AI agent integration for automated triage and escalation processes.
• Direct engineering teams on architectural implementation and adherence to best practices.
• Review current systems, pinpoint bottlenecks, and propose modernization strategies.
• Generate and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and deploying distributed systems in production environments.
• Demonstrated ability to debug systems operating under high throughput (100k+ events/sec or equivalent).
• Experience in production with event streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ).
• Profound knowledge of eventual consistency, distributed tracing, and failure modes.
• At least 5 years of work in security operations, MDR, MSSP, SOC, or similar high-volume event processing roles.
• Familiarity with security data formats (SIEM, EDR, SOAR) or the capability to learn rapidly.
• Strong expertise in API design (REST, GraphQL, event-driven).
• Experience in database architecture (both relational and NoSQL).
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration in production settings.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and observability architectures.
