Senior Staff Integration Engineer – Security Platform, Data Pipelines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Rapidly familiarize yourself with Zscaler’s SecOps platform, leveraging Python and APIs to set up, customize, and automate data transformations and workflows.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity subject matter experts (SMEs) to integrate new data pipelines and map various IT and security sources to meet specific customer use cases.

• Actively monitor pipeline performance and audit customer data across different environments to detect quality issues, highlight security vulnerabilities, and outline clear remediation actions.

• Work collaboratively across Sales, Product, and Services teams to convert customer requirements into actionable implementation and integration strategies.

• Articulate technical findings effectively to stakeholders and provide valuable insights from the field back to Engineering to foster ongoing product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience overseeing the entire data pipeline lifecycle, including ingestion, mapping, deduplication, normalization, merging, and unification.

• Specialized knowledge in managing data pipelines within cybersecurity platforms (e.g., SIEM, Unified Vulnerability Management) along with a comprehensive understanding of vulnerability, exposure, and threat management.

• Demonstrated capability to integrate a variety of security tools and data sources such as EDR, vulnerability scanners, CNAPP/CSPM, ticketing systems/CMDB, identity providers, and cloud logs.

• Strong expertise in data modeling and SQL, paired with the analytical skills necessary to investigate and resolve complex data challenges from start to finish.

• Experience utilizing Python for data parsing, executing transformations, interacting with APIs, and creating automation scripts.
