This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a subject matter expert in security architecture for AWS and Azure application and infrastructure implementations.
• Execute security architecture assessments within the governance framework of enterprise architecture.
• Create target system architectures adhering to secure-by-design principles and recognized security best practices.
• Prepare and disseminate risk assessment reports that detail cyber threats and proposed mitigation strategies.
• Develop reusable solution patterns to enhance clarity, consistency, and alignment across various designs.
• Formulate security-related policies, standards, and documentation reflecting leading practices.
• Investigate emerging technologies, industry advancements, and market trends to facilitate enterprise project implementation and operations.
• Provide technical leadership by staying updated on technology and security developments.
• Foster relationships with peers, cross-functional teams, and different business units to share best practices and enhance team performance.
• Influence the organization and collaborate with the wider security architecture team.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise IT and/or cybersecurity.
• At least 3 years of experience specializing in cybersecurity architecture.
• Proven experience in designing secure solutions within AWS and Azure environments.
• Familiarity with threat modeling and multi-tier web applications.
• Understanding of applicable security standards.
• Possession of an industry-recognized security certification such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security, or Azure Security certification.
• Experience collaborating with solution architects to create secure systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in influencing, building consensus, and aligning stakeholders across Digital Technology teams and leadership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts, apply sound judgment, and pursue continuous improvement.
• Proficient in synthesizing stakeholder feedback and translating complex business and technical requirements into actionable security guidance.
