Security Application Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Participate in the strategy, design, and optimization of OCHIN’s Epic Security product suite.

• Offer subject-matter expertise and advise on best-practice workflows.

• Implement system enhancements.

• Assist with organizational initiatives such as Gold Stars, Honor Roll, and Epic Upgrades.

• Develop system applications and application packages.

• Transition application packages through various environments.

• Support Security workflows, analytics, and technology.

• Collaborate with application and technical team members as well as end users.

• Provide on-site support for member organizations during new software installations as necessary.

• Train and assist with Go-Live installations as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Analyst.

• Current certification in the relevant Epic application(s), specifically in Security.

• A background in Healthcare IT is essential.

• Proven experience in building system applications.

• Strong knowledge of Security workflows, analytics, and technology.

• Experience in creating system application packages and managing their movement through various environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of security infrastructure and functionality for Community Connects, Critical Access Hospitals, and Rural Healthcare.

• Excellent communication skills with both application and technical team members as well as end users.

• Demonstrated integrity and accountability.

• Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a commitment to data-driven decision making.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented.

• Ability to undergo a 50–60-minute competency assessment prior to the team interview.

• Capability to work independently and efficiently from a home office setting.

• Access to high-speed internet service.

• Ability to maintain a distraction-free work environment.

• Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English.

• Must be able to appear on camera during all virtual meetings.
