Senior SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure the reliability of the platform in production, concentrating on availability, incidents, monitoring, deployments, costs, security, and capacity.

• Assist in the structuring and evolution of alerts, runbooks, incident response rituals, SLOs, SLIs, metrics, and operational processes.

• Enhance platform observability by distinguishing valuable alerts from noise and providing visibility for engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.

• Engage with cloud services, containers, pipelines, databases, networks, CDN/WAF, APIs, and automation without detailing the entire architectural framework.

• Facilitate decisions regarding scaling, resilience, isolation, rollback, security, cost, and technical progression.

• Automate repetitive tasks and transform operational knowledge into straightforward, practical, and actionable documentation.

• Collaborate with development, security, product, support, and operations teams to integrate reliability into the product rather than treating it as an isolated function at the end of the delivery pipeline.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience as an SRE, Platform Engineer, Senior DevOps, Senior Infrastructure Engineer, or a similar role in production settings.

• Hands-on experience with critical systems, high-volume operations, incident management, availability, and decision-making under pressure.

• Strong understanding of cloud technology, Kubernetes, containers, networking, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and infrastructure as code.

• Capability to investigate issues by analyzing logs, metrics, deployments, networks, databases, applications, bottlenecks, and system behaviors.

• Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize tasks, communicate risks, and lead initiatives without the need for micromanagement.

• Excellent technical communication skills: simplify complex problems, document essential information, and reach consensus on trade-offs.

• A practical, collaborative, and team-focused mindset—no ego. The expectation is to contribute to a team with existing strong expertise.
