This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.
• Design and implement production-level ML & AI workloads for clients utilizing our unified platform, which encompasses agents, end-to-end ML pipelines, training/inference optimization, and integration with cloud-native services, MLOps, etc.
• Act as a reliable expert for enterprise GenAI solutions, including RAG architectures, agentic systems (tool-calling agents, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails), natural language querying of structured data, AI evaluation and observability, as well as monitoring systems.
• Develop, scale, and enhance customer AI workloads while applying top-tier MLOps practices to bring these workloads into production across various sectors.
• Offer advanced technical support to Solution Architects during the technical sales process, covering aspects from feature engineering and training to tracking, serving, and model monitoring, all within a singular platform, while also engaging with the broader ML SME community at Databricks.
• Work collaboratively across functions with product and engineering teams to convey customer needs, establish priorities, and influence the product roadmap, facilitating the adoption of Databricks’ AI solutions.
• Over 7 years of practical industry experience in ML, specifically in at least one of the following areas:
• ML Engineer: Responsible for building and maintaining production-grade cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) infrastructure that supports the deployment of ML applications, including drift monitoring.
• AI Engineer: Proficient with the latest methodologies in LLMs & agentic systems, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, AI guardrail systems, and deploying LLMs using tools such as HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI.
• Experience in data engineering or a solid understanding of data engineering concepts.
• Capability to communicate and/or teach technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strong passion for collaboration, continuous learning, and generating business value through ML & AI.
• [Preferred] Over 5 years of customer-facing experience in a pre-sales or post-sales capacity.
• Ability to meet technical training expectations and role-specific objectives within three months of hire.
• This position can be remote; however, we prefer candidates located in the job listing area and available to travel up to 30% when necessary.
