Senior Specialist, SAP Order to Cash – Key User

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the SAP Key User and functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Order-to-Cash processes, encompassing order management, pricing, billing, delivery, returns, and invoicing.

• Take ownership and stabilize designated OTC business processes, ensuring adherence to global templates, internal controls, and best practices.

• Serve as the main business contact for SAP OTC process challenges, enhancements, and optimization projects.

• Offer initial functional support to the Order Management Center and Customer Service teams.

• Diagnose and resolve SAP OTC issues, including order errors, pricing inconsistencies, billing complications, delivery exceptions, and returns.

• Collaborate closely with Warehouse, Logistics, Pricing, Billing, Finance, and Returns teams to address cross-functional process challenges.

• Aid in Stock-to-Invoice controls by reviewing, rectifying, and preventing invoice discrepancies.

• Assist with SAP S/4HANA OTC processes and Fiori applications, ensuring efficient adoption and usage.

• Work together with IT, global SAP teams, and external partners on enhancements, integrations, and release cycles.

• Engage in system releases, cutovers, hypercare, and regression testing initiatives.

• Help monitor and resolve interface/integration issues (e.g., EDI, IDocs, third-party systems).

• Lead and perform functional testing activities, including test planning and documentation, unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), as well as test scenario creation, execution, and approval.

• Ensure accurate process documentation, training materials, and test artifacts are maintained.

• Recognize training needs for new hires and current users.

• Create and deliver end-user training utilizing modern formats (job aids, simulations, knowledge articles).

• Assist with change management activities linked to process improvements and system advancements.

• Foster effective communication and knowledge transfer within the user community.

• Proactively seek opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation within OTC.

• Collaborate with business and IT teams to facilitate automation initiatives (e.g., RPA, workflow enhancements).

• Monitor operational performance through SAP reports, embedded analytics, or dashboards.

• Utilize data and KPIs to identify root causes and propose corrective measures.

• Work collaboratively within a global, matrixed SAP operating model, engaging with regional process owners and global governance teams.

• Ensure compliance with global standards while accommodating local business needs.

• Contribute to ongoing process harmonization and maturity efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3–5 years of SAP OTC functional experience, ideally in a complex enterprise environment.

• Strong hands-on experience in supporting Order-to-Cash processes (SAP SD).

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or actively involved in an ECC-to-S/4HANA transition.

• Solid understanding of integrated business processes across Order Management, Logistics, and Finance.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
