Senior Specialist, HSE Compliance – Americas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and continuously enhance safety programs to boost capability and capacity for driving HSE performance and compliance.

• Actively promote safety initiatives, including leading indicator programs that encourage a preventive approach to HSE performance.

• Manage incident claims from initiation to closure, ensuring prompt resolution and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

• Establish and enforce standardized environmental practices in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

• Monitor and report monthly HSE performance metrics, collaborating with various stakeholders, including service center managers, to implement operating procedures and reporting processes.

• Serve as the primary contact for environmental permits, covering applications, renewals, and compliance management.

• Enhance and support HSE systems, including incident reporting, hazard tracking, and safety observation tools.

• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with processes and documentation standards.

• Provide training and facilitate the adoption of HSE tools and processes throughout the region.

• Work in partnership with cross-functional and regional stakeholders to promote continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management.

• OSHA certification (or equivalent qualifications).

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and environmental standards.

• Capability to work independently in a matrixed regional environment.

• A degree in environmental science, safety, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in supporting ISO certification processes is preferred.

• Proficiency in additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, or French) is preferred.
