• Conducts research to prepare for upcoming meetings with potential clients, gaining insights into their business landscape, market dynamics, customer profiles, competitors, and overall business challenges.
• Engages in discovery conversations with clients to ascertain their needs and requirements for new solutions.
• Leverages extensive knowledge of Talkdesk solutions and capabilities to identify suitable solution(s) for client needs and requirements.
• Creates and delivers presentations to clients, both in-person and virtually, showcasing Talkdesk’s capabilities.
• Develops straightforward value statements that demonstrate the financial benefits of a Talkdesk solution to clients.
• Aids in scoping Statements of Work (SOWs) for client implementations as necessary.
• Plans, executes, and manages client pilots and Proofs of Concept (POCs).
• Addresses functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements, aligning those requirements with the software solution.
• Collaborates closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into product roadmaps.
• Supports marketing and demand generation events as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 8 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer in Software, VOIP/Telecommunications, contact centers, with a focus on selling to Commercial or Enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated ability to capture attention in a room by delivering persuasive presentations and demonstrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of meeting business requirements with technical solutions.
• Proficient in communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and demonstrations for clients.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Software, IT Service Management (ITSM), Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence is advantageous.
• Understanding of UCaaS and CCaaS software is a plus.
• Knowledge of web/scripting technologies is a plus.
