This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Federal Account Executives in recognizing agency fraud, identity, and compliance requirements across civilian, defense, and intelligence sectors.
• Develop and present tailored demonstrations designed for federal use cases (benefits fraud, identity verification, payment fraud, AML).
• Collaborate with agency Security and IT teams to communicate Sardine's security posture, support ATO (Authority to Operate) processes, and complete agency security assessments and questionnaires.
• Take the lead in responding to federal RFPs, RFIs, Sources Sought notices, and other federal procurement initiatives.
• Design comprehensive Solution Designs that meet agency mission objectives and adhere to federal compliance standards (FISMA, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP).
• Work together with colleagues to enhance federal-specific processes within the Sales Engineering team.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify federal-specific gaps and assist in prioritizing solutions.
• Over 7 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or a comparable role supporting enterprise or government clients.
• Previous experience in the Risk, Fraud, Identity, or Compliance domains — government context is highly preferred (benefits fraud, tax fraud, payment integrity, identity verification).
• Demonstrated success working with federal agencies, systems integrators (SIs), or large government contractors.
• Active U.S. security clearance is highly preferred (Secret or above); candidates must be eligible for clearance.
• Knowledge of federal procurement processes: FAR/DFARS, GSA Schedules, OTAs, and IDIQs.
• Understanding of federal compliance and security frameworks: FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, CMMC, and the ATO process.
• Experience with API-based products; familiarity with JSON and the ability to read code; knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Strong analytical abilities to convert complex technical challenges into mission-oriented solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to present to both technical teams and senior agency stakeholders (CIOs, CISOs, program offices, CDataO, Chief Privacy Officer).
