This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Develop and expand a solutions engineering function to enhance sales and customer outcomes.
• Define role specifications and coverage models (segments, regions, product lines).
• Create a replicable technical discovery and solution design process.
• Establish clear engagement models, roles and responsibilities, and success metrics.
• Maintain executive relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders, with responsibility for:
• Commercial impact (deal support, win rates, cycle time reduction, revenue influence).
• Technical quality (solution accuracy, implementation readiness, customer satisfaction, escalations, continuous improvement).
• Alignment to product vision (AI adoption, roadmap inputs, standardization).
• Contribute to a structured solutions engineering enablement and competency program.
• Define levels, requirements, and maintenance criteria (training, assessments, quality metrics).
• Collaborate with Solution Architecture to establish technical standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Ensure competencies are measurable, auditable, and scalable.
• Participate in the operational rhythm to manage and grow solutions engineering.
• Conduct business reviews/performance reviews with Sales and key stakeholders.
• Create clear escalation pathways and document incident learnings.
• Provide reports on team health, coverage, and capability gaps.
• Assist in defining product lines and go-to-market strategies for Remote build.
• Develop ADRs and PRDs for potential products.
• Identify and abstract solution spaces.
• Prioritize AI in all initiatives.
• Design and implement AI agent workflows.
• Convert business processes into agent-enabled workflows (intake, orchestration, guardrails, evaluation).
• Prototype using modern LLM tools and refine towards production-level implementations.
• Create human-in-the-loop patterns, escalation paths, and observability (quality, cost, latency).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to deliver secure, reliable agent capabilities (APIs, permissions, data access).
• Demonstrated experience in building and leading a solutions engineering (or comparable) function, including hiring, onboarding, and managing performance.
• Strong skills in managing executive stakeholders (both internal and external), with a proven history of achieving results through influence.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and operational discipline: capable of converting ambiguous goals into repeatable processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to translate technical details into narratives suitable for executive-level audiences.
• Practical experience in designing, building, and deploying AI agent workflows (or similar automation/orchestration systems), with a practical focus on safety, evaluation, and iteration.
• Domain expertise in HRTech, payroll, HCM, or related industries.
