Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Business-to-Technical Translation: Collaborate with sales teams to comprehend business requirements, strategic objectives, and technical limitations; align those with DataRobot capabilities, providing customized messaging for various personas.

• Demo Execution and Use Case Framing: Conduct compelling, outcome-driven demonstrations for both prospective and current clients; assist in shaping and refining use cases according to maturity, necessity, and strategic alignment.

• Solution Design & Deployment Readiness: Identify essential technical requirements, suggest deployment models that satisfy specific security mandates, and offer guidance on data preparedness to ensure rapid time-to-value for new and expansion initiatives.

• Compliance & Security Alignment: Facilitate discussions surrounding AI governance, data security, model transparency, and responsible AI practices in accordance with regulations and standards.

• Cross-Functional Feedback Loop: Deliver structured feedback regarding specific needs, procurement challenges, and technical obstacles to Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams.

• Sales Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor within the sales team by assisting the Regional Director and Account Executives with the technical expertise and resources that promote AI adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in customer-facing data science, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting within the software/SaaS domain.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or business-related discipline (or equivalent experience); an advanced degree in a technical or analytical field is advantageous.

• Proven experience in supporting AI/ML or advanced analytics sales.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% on average for customer meetings, workshops, industry conferences, and events.
