Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with customer technical staff to effectively grasp their needs and challenges.

• Assess sales opportunities by comprehending customer technical specifications, decision-making processes, and key demand drivers.

• Identify and communicate the business value of Boomi's Enterprise Platform.

• Develop engaging presentations that illustrate to both technical and business decision-makers how Boomi addresses their pain points effectively.

• Offer technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a seamless transition from presales to implementation.

• Analyze the competitive landscape to position Boomi's solutions advantageously against rivals.

• Collaborate with sales teams, solution architects, leaders, and cross-functional technical teams to maintain a consistent and effective approach to solution application and development.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to Boomi's offerings, including Agentic AI, iPaaS, APIM, B2B/EDI, Business Process Automation, Managed File Transfer, Data Integration, and Data Governance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Business System Administration, or equivalent experience.

• Significant client-facing experience with a solid technical aptitude, strong presentation skills, and/or experience in field sales or customer consulting is preferred.

• Previous experience in field sales or customer consulting is favored, and experience with a global system integrator is a major advantage.

• Proven track record of successful projects with Enterprise accounts.

• Strong understanding of integration technologies, particularly focusing on APIs, data management, Agentic development, or Event-Driven Architectures.

• Practical experience with integration development or data synchronization platforms such as API Management, Master Data Management, or similar technology platforms is a significant benefit.

• Familiarity with competitive knowledge is a notable advantage.

• Experience in managing quotas and supporting sales planning activities like forecasting, account planning, and go-to-market strategies.

• Integration experience with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle EBS, Fusion, Netsuite, MS Dynamics, Business Central, BizTalk, ServiceNow, Salesforce, IFS, or others is also advantageous.

• Experience with any Event-Driven Architecture platform such as Solace, Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub, or Amazon SNS is an added plus.

• Experience with any Data platform like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQueries, Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, Talend, or Tibco is a plus.

• Experience with Integration Platforms (iPaaS) like Mulesoft, SAP BTP, Tibco, IBM webMethods, or Workato is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI platforms like Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Foundry, Google Vertex AI, IBM watsonx.ai, or other platforms is a plus.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand, design, and validate system architectures relevant to modern enterprise environments.

• Capability to identify customer needs and effectively articulate the business value of solutions.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and promote effective communication within global cross-functional teams.

• Willingness to take ownership in highly professional teams.

• Strong presentation skills, active listening abilities, and comfort presenting to a diverse range of audiences, both in responsibility and technical understanding.

• A natural enthusiasm for creative problem-solving and an inquisitive nature to understand how things function.

• Flexibility to work both independently and collaboratively for extended durations.

• Recognition of the importance of continuous learning while also serving as a coach and mentor to fellow team members.
