This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Drive revenue growth and secure new business by promoting Akamai's technology to both existing and potential customers.
• Oversee the technical proposal process, ensuring that all technical details and recommendations meet customer needs accurately.
• Interact with customers throughout the sales cycle to collect requirements and create proposals, along with designing, delivering, and demonstrating proof-of-concepts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance customer relationships by becoming the primary contact for technical inquiries.
• Proven experience in a technical pre-sales or sales engineering role, consulting, or any customer-facing position focused on delivering technical products or services.
• Strong understanding of Cloud and Internet technologies, including security solutions, compute, content delivery, and web architecture (DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for problem-solving, and a customer-centric approach.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Demonstrated success in designing internet security solutions within public and hybrid cloud environments.
• Effective team player capable of collaborating, prioritizing, and addressing challenges in a rapidly changing environment.
