Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define scalable, resilient, and secure solution architectures that align with the company's strategic goals.

• Act as a technical reference, advocating for engineering best practices and enhancing software quality.

• Lead initiatives aimed at modernizing legacy systems, focusing on decoupling, reuse, and the adoption of microservices.

• Evaluate and manage technical debt, taking into account its impact, cost, risk, and timeline.

• Establish architectural standards, technical guidelines, and best practices applicable to various projects.

• Create technical blueprints and reusable artifacts to streamline processes.

• Design architectures for applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure.

• Convert functional requirements into sustainable technical solutions.

• Work with cloud-native solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Define backend architectures that prioritize performance, resilience, and testability.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, implement automated testing, and conduct thorough code reviews.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams spanning development, product management, security, data, and infrastructure.

• Assist in the prevention and resolution of critical incidents.

• Advocate for observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.

• Engage in refactoring, continuous improvement, and initiatives aimed at reducing technical debt.

• Assess new technologies and methodologies that enhance efficiency and technical quality.

• Manage and configure tools that facilitate development and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect in complex and critical environments.

• Proficient in architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or ArchiMate.

• Experience in modeling using the C4 Model.

• Advanced understanding of microservices architecture, cloud-native strategies, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Practical experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and serverless architectures.

• Proficient in integration patterns, API Gateway, ESB, and Event-Driven Architecture.

• Background in distributed systems, high availability, and scalability.

• Knowledgeable in relational and non-relational data architecture and modeling.

• Hands-on development experience with Java.

• Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and continuous delivery pipelines.

• Understanding of SOLID principles, the 12-Factor App methodology, Design Patterns, and Refactoring.

• Experience with event-driven architectures, such as Kafka.

• Proficient in agile methodologies and observability practices.
