Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the integration and deployment of the API Security Platform and its components within various enterprise ecosystems.

• Addressing deployment challenges across Kubernetes environments, virtual appliances, cloud infrastructure, networking, API gateways, authentication processes, hybrid architectures, and distributed applications.

• Collaborating with customer engineering, DevOps, cloud, networking, or security teams to implement and operationalize the Akamai API Security Platform.

• Analyzing API traffic to detect misconfigurations, authentication vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Assisting in the configuration of in/out-bound traffic sources for major API gateways and platforms (including F5, Citrix, Apigee, Kong, NGINX, or MuleSoft).

• Creating enterprise architecture diagrams, integration patterns, deployment strategies, and operational runbooks.

• Facilitating customer workshops, technical enablement sessions, and architectural assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess relevant experience and customer-facing skills.

• Exhibit significant experience in designing IaaS solutions for clients.

• Hold professional certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle and/or CNCF.

• Have a background in troubleshooting distributed cloud-native applications and debugging skills across infrastructure, networking, and application layers.

• Experience with containerized environments such as Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, or traditional enterprise infrastructure systems like Linux and VMware/OVA hosting.

• Have hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms and IaC tools while comprehending networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S.

• Familiarity with modern API technologies including RESTful APIs, OAuth/JWT, API authentication, and authorization; capable of configuring API gateways, ingress controllers, or WAF/WAAP.
