Senior Solution Engineer – Workload Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Technical point of contact for corporate clients across various industries

• Close collaboration with sales, product management, and development teams

• Analyzing complex customer environments and identifying automation potentials

• Development of Proof of Concept (PoC) use cases based on specific customer requirements

• Participation in client meetings to early identify technical and business requirements before solution development

• Support of the sales process, particularly in crafting responses to RFIs and RFPs

• Systematic communication of customer feedback to Sales and Product Teams for continuous improvement of requirements and solutions

• Ongoing enhancement of personal knowledge regarding current IT trends such as DevOps, DataOps, SOAP, Observability, cloud technologies, and AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field, or relevant practical experience

• Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer, in technical presales, consulting, or technical sales within enterprise software environments

• Experience with APIs, REST integrations, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

• Good understanding of IT architectures, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud environments

• Solid knowledge of operating systems such as Unix, Linux, and Windows, as well as IT security and basic concepts of data warehousing and business intelligence

• In-depth technical expertise in Automic, Control M, or Airflow, including architecture, agents, APIs, and integrations is a plus

• Experience with observability platforms like Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog is also advantageous

• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

• Confident presentation skills along with the ability to explain complex content clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Strong analytical abilities and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work

• Team-oriented with well-developed interpersonal skills.
