This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Showcase Snowflake’s technology and vision to both executives and technical contributors at potential clients and existing customers.
• Engage directly with prospects and clients to illustrate and convey the benefits of Snowflake technology throughout the sales process, from demonstrations to proof of concepts and implementation.
• Cultivate and develop technical advocates within your accounts to facilitate deals and secure technical victories.
• Immerse yourself in the dynamic industry landscape, maintaining an in-depth understanding of competitive and complementary technologies, as well as vendors, to effectively position Snowflake.
• Collaborate closely with fellow sales engineers to enhance each other's skills and consistently learn from successes and setbacks.
• Work in partnership with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously enhance Snowflake’s offerings and promotional strategies.
• Represent Snowflake at industry conferences or customer gatherings.
• Partner with our ecosystem and implementation partners to develop joint architectures or collaborate on strategies and initiatives that support our customers' success.
• Actively participate in the co-development of Account & territory plans and execute them while engaging with the broader internal and external ecosystem.
• Experience in solution engineering or as a solution architect within a SaaS context or relevant industry background (analytics, data science, data engineering, etc.).
• Exceptional presentation abilities for both technical and executive audiences, whether spontaneously on a whiteboard or through structured presentations and demos.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience in data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technologies.
• Practical experience with SQL.
• Capability to address customer-specific business challenges and apply Snowflake’s solutions effectively.
• Strong customer-facing skills to articulate our vision to a diverse range of technical and executive audiences, both in writing and verbally.
• Preferred (but not mandatory): Practical experience with Python.
• Familiarity with modern data technologies (e.g., dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tools, orchestration tools, Git, etc.).
• Experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies.
