Senior Solution Architect – Physical AI, Medical and Surgical Robotics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams and clients to pinpoint valuable Physical AI and robotics opportunities, formulate technical strategies, and align NVIDIA platform capabilities with customer objectives.

• Integrate NVIDIA hardware and software into cutting-edge medical and surgical robotics systems, intelligent instruments, and healthcare robotics platforms.

• Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations and reference workflows for AI-driven robotics, encompassing robot perception, planning, manipulation, agentic workflows, synthetic data generation, simulation, and Sim2Real validation.

• Assist clients in building, simulating, training, deploying, and optimizing robotics and AI workloads utilizing NVIDIA platforms such as Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, and NVIDIA inference software.

• Keep abreast of advancements in Physical AI, embodied AI, robot learning, agentic AI, surgical robotics, and simulation-first development, translating relevant breakthroughs into actionable customer solutions.

• Produce technical materials and training resources for customers, partners, and internal teams, including whitepapers, blogs, wiki articles, workshops, and hands-on technical sessions.

• Cultivate relationships with key customers and robotics ecosystem partners through remote collaboration and selective travel.


⛳️ Requirements

• MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development, machine learning, deep learning, robotics, simulation, autonomy, high-performance computing, or Physical AI.

• Strong practical knowledge of AI architectures for embodied systems, including Vision Language Action (VLA) models, Vision Language Models (VLMs), Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI, robot perception, planning, manipulation, control, and human-robot interaction.

• Hands-on experience with simulation-first robotics development, covering synthetic data generation, digital twins, policy training and evaluation, and Sim2Real workflows.

• Practical understanding of Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, or similar robotics simulation and training environments.

• Proficient software development skills in C/C++, Python, with experience in creating robotics software pipelines, processing streaming sensor data, and optimizing algorithms for real-time systems.

• Exceptional communication, organization, and customer-facing technical leadership abilities, with a capacity to manage multiple complex projects and convey highly technical information clearly.
