Senior Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Concept and product development: Collaborating with Business Analysis, you will create innovative concepts for new products or enhancements to existing offerings.

• Project planning: Following the functional planning stage of a project, you will develop a comprehensive technical solution design for handover to the IT department.

• Project work: For larger initiatives, you will establish appropriate milestones and sensible intermediate steps in coordination with project management.

• Communication and support: You will serve as the primary contact for technical inquiries from both customers and internal stakeholders.

• Documentation: You will generate both technical project documentation and architecture diagrams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience: You possess a degree in (business) computer science or a similar qualification and have several years of experience in a comparable environment and role.

• Industry knowledge: You have a strong understanding of the finance and/or insurance sector and are well-versed in their specific requirements and processes.

• Familiarity with standards: A foundational knowledge of established industry standards such as BiPRO or GDV is advantageous.

• Technical know-how: You have several years of experience in designing, mapping, and testing web services and web-service-oriented system architectures.

• Analytical and conceptual strengths: You demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities and the capacity to develop concepts, consistently maintaining a strong focus on quality.

• Independent working style: You are highly self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to quickly adapt to new subject areas.

• Strong communication skills: You excel in interacting with various stakeholders and can convey complex issues clearly and appropriately for your audience.

• Development know-how: Ideally, you possess substantial experience with PHP, PHP frameworks (such as Symfony, Laravel, Slim, etc.), database administration using MySQL, SOAP web services, and JSON APIs.
