This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a technical leader within a global software engineering team focused on Product Security, designing and managing resilient and scalable systems that advance our security objectives.
• Create and deploy software and automation tools targeting security applications, including software supply chain security, AI-driven vulnerability detection, and visibility across a global multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with various teams across Product Security to shape the security tooling strategy, leveraging risk assessments and architectural evaluations.
• Take ownership of SRE excellence for essential security services, establishing performance monitoring and response protocols to guarantee top-notch performance during critical security incidents.
• Proven experience in a Software Engineering role, specifically with event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation tools, and internal monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or Typescript.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containers, software cryptographic signing, and open-source software dependencies.
• Demonstrated experience managing the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, implementation, and delivery, with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement and achieving mission outcomes.
• Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration tools like Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet, etc.
• Background in a Product Security role involving product platforms and customer-facing applications; experience in a SaaS company is a significant advantage.
• Extensive awareness of the cybersecurity landscape, including adversaries, modes of interest, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Experience with ElasticSearch and relational database management.
• Knowledge in utilizing graph database solutions for establishing internal asset relationships.
• Ability to monitor and analyze telemetry data from applications and infrastructure.
• Experience in Security Operations and/or Incident Response.
• Familiarity with cloud-scale, business-critical Linux environments.
• Experience working within cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP.
