This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of significant lifecycle initiatives from start to finish (from unclear objectives → design → construction → launch → refinement), covering guest experiences such as activation, reactivation, graduation, and loyalty.
• Develop dependable messaging and data pipelines that facilitate campaign execution (segmentation, scheduling, and send-time optimization) on a large scale across email, SMS, and push notifications.
• Enhance deliverability and compliance standards (domain warmup, provider policies, Twilio registration, throttling/guardrails), ensuring safe sending while maximizing reach and performance.
• Create a cycle for experimentation and measurement within the lifecycle: including holdouts, incremental lift, attribution quality, and analytics instrumentation that both product and marketing teams can rely on.
• Boost platform observability and operational excellence by implementing SLOs, dashboards, alerting mechanisms, and incident-ready runbooks for crucial business pipelines.
• Introduce AI-assisted functionalities that enhance the autonomy of lifecycle marketing (e.g., smarter targeting, creative generation, and adaptive campaign optimization), focusing on production-ready systems.
• Expand the team's capabilities through technical leadership: establish engineering standards, review design proposals, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, Marketing, and other GPV Growth teams.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and a proactive approach.
• Established track record of steering multi-quarter, cross-functional projects from problem identification to achieving measurable results.
• Builder with a focus on AI advancements.

• Strong commitment to end-to-end ownership.
• Capability to progress projects from ambiguous problem statements through design, execution, and production support.
• Product-oriented engineering judgment.
