This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop scalable and high-performance software solutions that align with business objectives and user requirements, utilizing AI-assisted tools and methodologies as part of your engineering practice.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver top-quality features and functionalities.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Engage in code reviews, share expertise with team members, and consistently enhance development processes.
• Advocate for new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies that foster innovation and product advancement.
• Contribute proactively to our security-first strategy by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective solutions.
• Work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across different time zones.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in building and scaling SaaS applications.
• Previous experience in developing and maintaining Distributed Applications.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting security-focused code reviews.
• Proficiency in core frontend technologies, including the browser API, client-side storage options (e.g., localStorage, IndexedDB), networking (e.g., fetch, XMLHttpRequest), and performance optimization.
• Experience in creating scalable, high-performance React applications using Next.js for Single Page Applications (SPA).
• Familiarity with designing, consuming, and optimizing REST APIs utilizing efficient data fetching methods.
• Experience working with design systems to maintain UI consistency, reusability, and scalability.
• Expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and utility-first frameworks like TailwindCSS (knowledge of alternative frameworks and their trade-offs is a plus).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• In-depth understanding of frontend security best practices to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, and CORS, and implementing protections like Content Security Policy (CSP) to protect users and their data.
• Designing responsive, maintainable, and accessible UI components.
• Writing unit tests, integration tests, and component tests to guarantee robustness and prevent regressions.
• Building and maintaining component libraries that comply with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with software engineering methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, CI/CD, and Collective Code Ownership.
• Experience in architecting and designing distributed, fault-tolerant, high-availability, and resilient systems.
• Proven capability to instrument distributed systems with well-designed telemetry and observability code, including metrics, traces, and log management (prior experience with OpenTelemetry and Datadog is a plus).
