Senior Software Engineer – Engineering Workflow, CI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Enhance the Firefox development workflows to minimize time spent on testing and debugging failures, while increasing integration and automation of processes.

• Collaborate with a distributed development team across various geographic locations.

• Provide mentorship to fellow team members and receive guidance from more experienced colleagues.

• Work in partnership with other teams by offering code reviews and technical guidance.

• Analyze data, create dashboards, and identify trends in the Firefox development workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Python, including experience in building services.

• Background in front-end development, with strong skills in JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Python frameworks (such as FastAPI, Flask, Django), cloud services (like GCP, AWS), and RESTful APIs.

• In-depth knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Experience with CI/CD systems (including GitHub Actions, CircleCI) and testing frameworks.

• Ability to work across different platforms, with familiarity in at least two of the following: Windows, Linux, Mac, Android.

• A strong enthusiasm for improving developer productivity.
