This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.
• Enhance the development workflows for Firefox to minimize the time spent on testing and debugging failures, as well as to increase the integration and automation of processes.
• Collaborate with a distributed development team located in different geographic areas.
• Provide mentorship to fellow team members while also receiving guidance from more experienced colleagues.
• Work in conjunction with other teams by offering code reviews and technical guidance.
• Analyze data, create dashboards, and identify trends within the Firefox development workflow.
• Strong Python programming abilities, particularly in developing services.
• Experience in front-end development, with a solid understanding of JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Django, as well as Cloud Services like GCP and AWS, and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent grasp of databases and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions and CircleCI, along with test harnesses.
• Ability to work across multiple platforms, with familiarity in at least two of the following: Windows, Linux, Mac, or Android.
