Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Utilize data analysis, data modeling, and quality assurance methodologies grounded in a thorough comprehension of business processes.

• Cultivate and sustain specialized knowledge of database concepts, as well as object and data modeling techniques and design principles.

• Create, code, test, correct, and document intricate programs and scripts according to agreed specifications.

• Design and develop ETL mappings and workflows utilizing Qlik or Informatica.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Software Engineers.

• Assist in technical consulting efforts directed at clients within the pharmaceutical sector.

• Deliver application support for current products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated relevant experience in systems integration and implementation, software development, or a related field.

• Proven capability to engage with multiple stakeholders effectively.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure components, particularly Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services, and Synapse.

• Experience in implementing ETL solutions, especially with Qlik Replicate and Compose.

• Strong skills in Database Development, particularly in implementing SQL solutions within Azure SQL, Synapse, or Databricks environments.

• Good experience handling large datasets.

• Background in enhancing Data Quality in Data Warehouses, particularly using Informatica Data Quality.

• Experience in testing ETL solutions, specifically with the Informatica DVO product.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture modeling tools, frameworks, and methodologies such as TOGAF, SPARX EA, UML, BPMN, ArchiMate, etc.

• Experience in designing Data Warehouses using Kimball’s Dimensional Modeling Techniques and architecting ETL systems.

• Experience in working within Agile software development methodologies, including authoring technical documents/specifications.

• Proficient in debugging complex software systems.

• Extensive experience in implementing data-driven systems with large-scale relational or object-oriented databases.

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment with tight deadlines.
